All this started when I read the North West Kansas magazine, where they had done a profile on your paintings. I knew I needed one of the "story paintings" since Paul is always making up stories about Grommit, our Klee Kai. Grommit has been a cattle rustler who rides a horse and the lord of a medieval Castle. He steals my van from time to time to pick up all his animal friends and bring them over for nachos. The story that has had the longest life is Grommit and his Cheddar Falcon. He travels the universe saving the cheese and pasta planets. This painting perfectly captures Grommit and his spaceship and his sidekick, Rowlf the Wookie and Smuckers. Clarissa was a joy to work with. We went back and forth with different mockups and ideas and the result was just stunning. She always kept me updated and the progress and it's just wonderful.
Also shout out to Sarah from MN - her painting and review on the site let me know that you could tackle - and would be open to - my unusual request :)

I cannot recommend Mama House Studio enough! Clarissa has been an incredible artist to collaborate with. The entire process of seeing our light-hearted vision turn into a beautifully-painted reality has been an absolute joy. Her skill as an artist speaks for itself, but along with that remarkable talent she is also very approachable and easy to work with. Seeing this painting develop from early planning stages through many in-progress check-ins has been an utter delight. Clarissa captured our dog perfectly in a magnificent portrait fit for a queen.

Absolutely incredible to work with, and her talent is extraordinary! Commissioned a LOTR cat/Gandalf picture for my wife and it turned out incredible. I cannot say enough about Clarissa as an artist. One word comes to mind, originality! She was able to take my eccentric idea and make it a reality! I was absolutely speechless when I laid my eyes on my piece! The colors were amazing, vivid and really captured the Victorian era I had in mind! She was able to capture my pets personalities and quirks! It looks like an actual photograph. So pleased and amazed by this artist. Five stars!
